Caring For Your Bread

Manubread breads are not made with preservatives or artificial additives. To keep your bread fresher for longer follow these tips:

Storing
  • The best way to store your bread is in a bread box.
  • Keep your bread at room temperature, not in the fridge.
  • Keep your bread in its paper bag out of direct sunlight. You can also wrap it in cling film.
  • Slice your bread as you need it (sliced bread will dry out more quickly). You should also keep it on the chopping board cut side down.
Freezing
  • If you are not planning to eat your bread in the first 2 days then freeze it as soon as you are able by placing it in a well sealed freezer bag or wrap it in cling film.
  • To thaw your bread leave it in the sealed bag at room temperature for half an hour.  This will avoid moisture loss.
  • Avoid defrosting in the microwave and do not refreeze thawed bread.
Reheating
  • To revitailise the crust and warm the interior put your bread in a pre-heated oven (180ºC to 200ºC) for 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Avoid heating your bread in the microwave.
